HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

I'm still alive!!

It's been forever! If you are actually still checking my blog, thanks! (and leave a comment so I know you're still with me.)
I keep thinking I will have time to update and then another day goes by and nope, no post. It doesn't help that everytime I do get on the computer I have a zillion messages! I am on a few very chatty xstitch lists! :o)
I have been doing lots of stitching, some I can show, some I can't. The ornament here is from Mylene in the Netherlands. Isn't it too cute! I can't wait to get my tree up. :o)

One of the things I have stitched is 'Two White Houses' from Little House Needleworks. This is my first time stitching one of their designs. I absolutely loved stitching this one. I love the colors. After I took this pic I realized how well the design matches the quilt it's sitting on. :o)
I also finished a small 'Liberty' design but I will post a pic of that after I finish turning it into a pinkeep.
I stitched something for Amber for Christmas but I can't post a pic till after she receives it. She knows what it is but hasn't seen it in the frame. I am working on something for Amy for Christmas but can't show that either. :op
The biggest news is that I sold another design!!! This time I sold it to Just Cross Stitch magazine. They are planning it for the July/August 2008 issue. They seemed to really like the design which made me happy because it's one I really like too. Obviously I can't show that one either. :op
Along with Amy's gift I'm also stitching 8 of the same ornaments for an ornament exchange. I haven't gotten the addresses yet so I'm not sure where they are all going.

So.....is everyone done Christmas shopping yet? Yeah right.....it would help if anyone knew what they wanted. It might be a boring Christmas Day with lots of gift cards being opened. Oh well, everyone loves getting them because they like shopping and not spending money. ;o) I know I do. :op
Here are a few pics from Halloween this year. Louie was a pirate. I can't believe how much he looks like my brother in law! Emma was a witch. This pic is from before preschool. She decided not to wear the green face for trick or treating because it made her itch. The costume Emma is wearing is one that my mom made for Amy over 20 years ago! Amy and Amber both wore it. Then we didn't have another girl born on my side of the family until Emma 4 years ago.
Ok, better get something else accomplished around here.
